Hot Weekend With More Storms...
Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Zeppelin
We catch a break from the rain for most of the day but there is a slight chance a storm could pop up late in evening. It will be a hot, muggy day with highs near 90 degrees. Things change Sunday afternoon as a more potent storm system is expected to move into Oklahoma. There is an increased risk for severe storms Sunday and into Monday across eastern Oklahoma. While the highest threat from these storms will be large hail, Lightning, and gusty winds the threat for tornadoes to develop will also be a concern into early next week.
Saturday: Partly Sunny, Hot and muggy. High in Tulsa: 88.
Tonight: Mostly Cloudy, Isolated Storm before Midnight. Low in Tulsa: 71.
