Posted: Updated:

It's one of the landmarks along Route 66 and now you can own a piece of it.
Located in an old abandoned swimming hole,  the Blue Whale in Catoosa has opened a souvenir and concession stand.

For more than thirty years, thousands of tourists have stopped to learn a little more about the unusual big blue attraction.  Even "Time Magazine"  featured it as among the Top 50 Roadside Attractions in America.

Now visitors have something to show for their adventure says Curator Blaine Davis.

"We do have old vintage postcards, new post cards, blue whale bottled water and Christmas ornaments."

The souvenir shop is only opened weekends through October 17th. The hours from noon to six.

Visitors from 34- states and 18 foreign countries have enjoyed the Blue Whale this year.
