TU Uzoh Makes NBA Roster

Last season Ben Uzoh was ending a great college basketball career at the University of Tulsa. Now he is playing in the NBA as an drafted rookie!

Uzoh has made the 15-man regular season roster of the NBA's New Jersey Nets just announced before Wednesday's (Oct. 27th) season opener against the Detroit Pistons.

Uzoh was a first-team all-Conference USA player in his senior season averaging 15.3 points and 4.7 assists per game. He finished at TU among the top-10 in school history in 11 different categories. including third on the school's all-time scoring chart with 1,951 points.

Ben was un-drafted in the June NBA draft but was invited to play on the Nets' Summer League team and then played in six preseason games.
