Tulsa Police Investigating City's Latest Homicide

Tulsa Police respond to a man down call early Tuesday morning and find a man dead.

Around 7:30 a.m. this morning EMSA paramedics and TPD officers were called to a vacant lot near 2000 North Quincy.

When they arrived they discovered a black male lying dead about 30 feet from the roadway.

All homicide detectives know about the victim is that he appears to be between the age of 18-21.  He has the initials "KS" tattooed on the inside of his right wrist and he was wearing several rings.

Police say there was a shots fired call into 911 around 3:30 a.m. today but they are not sure if it is related to this homicide.

Detectives are also looking into the possiblity this could be connected to an overnight shooting a few blocks away where a man was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
