SAN ANTONIO (AP) - The San Antonio Stars overcame career-highs by Odyssey Sims and Skylar Diggins to beat the Tulsa Shock 95-93 last night. Sims had 39 points and Diggins had 34 for Tulsa. Kayla McBride scored 23 points. Danielle Robinson scored the game-winning basket for San Antonio.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The Tulsa men's October soccer match against UConn will be broadcast live on NSCAATV.com. The game is scheduled for October 11th in Storrs, Connecticut. The Golden Hurricane finished last season with an 11-6-3 overall record. UConn finished as the American Athletic Conference Championship runner-up.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Volleyball teams from across the world are in Tulsa this week for the 15th annual USA Volleyball High Performance Championships. The event features some of the best teams from USA Volleyball High Performance pipeline teams and USA Volleyball Region High Performance teams. The field also includes eight international teams.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State University assistant track and field coach Diego Flaquer has been named the sprints coach for the Colombian national team at the IAAF World Junior Track and Field Championships. Flaquer is entering his second season as the OSU sprints coach. He'll coach the Colombian men's and women's sprinters at the event.
