Mother nature just doesn’t want to give us a break! Here comes another storm bringing us another chance for freezing rain and sleet. Very cold air will spill south across Green Country on Wednesday and will linger until Friday. A storm system will pull warm moisture over the cold air at the surface. That will cause rain to fall and freeze just before or after it hits the ground. Right now it looks like the frozen precipitation will be light and mainly north of I-40. But until it arrives it’s hard to tell exactly where and how much freezing rain and sleet will fall. I do know that we’ll have to be ready for another blast of very cold weather and some slick spots Wednesday to Friday.
