Ever weekday morning from 5 to 7 am, there is a large banner at the top left of ktul.com. It reads "Chat live with Kristen, Keith and Mike. Just click on that and fill out the form.

Most sites nowadays are going to a wider format because the number of those who use the 800x600 format are decreasing rapidly. It allows webmasters to add more content to the site without having the page go on forever in length. The text is no smaller than it used to be, in fact in some cases it's larger thanks to the wider format.
Hope that explains it.
I'm having a hard time understanding what you're talking about. I can click all over our site and am able to hit the back button and get to any page I was at previously. Anyone else have a problem like that?
Thanks Kevin
If there are comments on the story you're wanting to read about, the latest one will be at the bottom of that story page. Then, there will be a link to show all of the posts on that topic, if there is more than one.
except, how do we read the comments on the news articles? Ive looked and cannot find where they are at.....
thnx!
Good work!

If there is a problem with the page loading faster, it's definitely not the size of the page. The new site design contains 60-percent less HTML than the previous site did. It loads on my computer in less than two seconds.
Sadly I do not see any additional content to your previous site, but I do see a massive increase in your bandwidth requirements as well as the resources you consume on my machine.
Many people totaly ignore the resources consumed issue. But bytes and CPU cycles dedicated to your page cannot be used for other applications. It is like they are stuck in the late 80s with a single application DOS mentality.
With great regret I am looking at other local news sites. Should one of them have small baldwidth requirements and have a small footprint on my machine, I will go there. If I cannot find this site I will simply give up local events. Nothing you provide is worth what your site presently consumes.
JohnnyK -- nice to see you again. I think it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for the full-blown forums to make a return. I don't know when it would happen, but possibly in the near future.
Moonman -- it appears the Bartlesville camera wasn't included on the new site. Don't exactly know why, just must have overlooked it. I'll work to get it back on the weather page.
Munchkin -- I'm not sure how I'd go about helping on that one. Stories are added to the page throughout the day and old ones eventually end up in the archives. The only way you would find them again is to use the search feature, or possibly bookmark them on your computer, although I'm sure that would be a bit of a hassle.
Thanks for bringing the Comments back and great job on the site! :)
By the way, I stumbled upon the antenna website previously linked by ktul.com, it is www.antennaweb.org if anyone else is interested.
I still don't get the "channel 8.1" versus "frequency assignment: channel 10" thing.
I have to agree with confused..I find trying to find the stories I posted on yesterday very difficult to find today...... I hunt and hunt for something....hrmmmmmmmmmm. Thanks!
I am trying to figure out how to pick up your digital broadcast from Tahlequah (I get the analog broad cast fine). I'm not sure I understand the nuances of tuning my digital reciever to channel 8-1, 8-2, or 8-3 versus channel 10 (since I get no signal either way).
Also, http://radiostationworld.com shows your analog signal power at 316 kW but your digital signal at only 7 kW. Could this be a reason why i haven't been able to successfully receive your DT signal in Tahlequah? When you discontinue analog broadcasting in 2009, will you boost the power of your DT signal at that time, or is that unnecessary?
Lastly, a link on your old digital broadcast page, indicated that I needed to aim my antennae at a compass point of 274 degrees (south-by-southeast) instead of west-by-northwest as expected, and that the signal source was approximately 35 miles away. Does this mean you have a translator station located somewhere near Sallisaw? What am I misunderstanding?
