The college football regular season has come to an end with LSU as the national champion and Oklahoma ranked eighth in the final edition of the Associated Press College Football poll. LSU, which defeated Ohio State 38-24 in Monday night's BCS National Championship game, finished first in the poll, followed by fellow SEC team Georgia.
USC was third while Missouri was fourth. Ohio State fell to fifth with West Virginia, Kansas, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech and Boston College rounding out the top ten.

Texas finished tied for tenth in the poll and fellow Big 12 team Texas Tech was 22nd.
After their impressive 63-7 win over Bowling Green Sunday night, Tulsa (10-4) picked up four votes in the poll. Arkansas had 13 votes.
