Sickening is what I call it. The sentence certainly doesn't fit the crime. Then again was it a case of "who you know" as I know of at least one farm near me that never gets pulled up for the poor care they give their animals (out of 5 newborns this year, 1 has survived so far because they and their mothers aren't fed or cared for properly) because of family connections (basically money). People like that don't deserve to keep any animals, bet they don't treat their families the same way!

We are starting up our own farm and there is no way that we could live with ourselves if our animals were like that. After all when all is said and done they are our livelihood and animals that are in poor condition or dead don't contribute to our survival as a farm.

Thank God something was done...people like him deserve to be left in a dry lot with no shelter until we can count their ribs, I only wish the punishment was more severe. I'm sick to death of stories like this, I bust my hump and wallet to make sure my animals are well fed and well taken care of. The world needs to be ever vigilant about these wastes of humanity, that contribute nothing to the world except taking up precious mass and oxygen.
