Cosmotologist Jennifer Young at Enrique's Spa and Salon pampered Alesha a little with a professional manicure. Alesha enjoyed that as she takes pride in her appearance and is interested in typical girl things like hair and shopping. And, she also likes some sports. "I really only like basketball. I like playing catch with the football, but I don't want to play football."

Alesha has a great sense of humor. She's a bright, capable student, and is working on staying focused on tasks. Math is a favorite subject and she really enjoys writing.

"Because I have pretty handwriting, so yeah I just like seeing my handwriting, so I'll write anything practically."

Alesha is an animal lover and once upon a time, she had a pet rabbit. In the future, she'd love to have her own dog in her adoptive home.

"I want a Chihuahua. Because I think they're really cute. I want a teacup Chihuahua."

Alesha says she really wants a mom and that she'd like to be either the oldest or perhaps the only child in her family. Adoption would give Alesha the security and stability that she deserves and a real sense of belonging.

"So, I could have a home to be at for the rest of my life."
