Tulsa - Fire crews have brought a grass fire under control north of Tulsa.
The fire broke out in the 6-thousand block of North Utica. Between two and four acres were burned, but the fire has since been brought under control.
Fire crews from Sperry and Turley responded to fight the fire. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
Firefighters say a neighborhood was nearby, but fortunately the winds were blowing in the opposite direction, so the homes were never in danger.
Despite rain earlier this week, northeastern Oklahoma remains on high fire danger as strong winds and low humidities continue across the area.
