Okenee Woman Dies In 1-Vehicle Accident In Blaine County

A 43-year-old Okeene woman is dead following a one-vehicle accident on a rural Blaine County road. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Amy Lea Eskue died in the wreck, which occurred on a gravel road about 1:25 p.m. Saturday about three miles east and 2.5 miles north of Okeene.
Troopers say the cause and details of the accident remain under investigation.
Eskue was thrown more than 25 feet from her vehicle during the accident. She was taken to a hospital in Okeene before being flown by helicopter to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where she died.
