Blair Williams is just a sophomore at Beggs High School, but already has an idea where he wants to go to college and what he wants to do -- sports. Preferably basketball.
"We only made it to the first round of area, but it was fun while it lasted."
Beggs has always had a good tradition of being successful in basketball and football. Blair says he tries hard and it has paid off. He was all conference in both sports.
"I feel pretty good. My coach said he wasn't going to tell me until the end of the season because he didn't want me to get a big head."
"Did it work?"
"Nah."
The team is expected to do well again next year. While there will be no returning seniors, it will mean a lot of playing time and experience for younger players like Blair.
"Everybody's returning, so we know what we're doing."
And, Blair is also a three-sport athlete, participating in tennis. He just picked up the sport recently. So, how does he like it?
"I really like it. I'm playing singles right now."
Blair also enjoys video games and texting.
