Authorities in Rogers County are investigating after the discovery of human bones.

The bones were found Wednesday evening near Fisherman's Landing, which is located near Foyil, about 30 miles northeast of Tulsa.

Authorities tell NewsChannel 8 they believe the bones may be that of a person reported missing in January 2007 and that they have several suspects in mind.

One missing person's case that was reported by NewsChannel 8 in Rogers County early last year is that of Blake Allen Sutherland, who was last seen in the Blue Creek area near Chelsea on January 12, 2007. Identification of the body has not been made and that determination will be made by the medical examiner's office.

The ongoing investigation is being handled by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation as well as Rogers County authorities, which remain on the scene.
