Jenks police continue to investigate a possible case of severe child abuse. A two year old boy was seriously injured.

The case is unfolding at the corner of 7-th and C- street. Neighbors say they are shocked.

Yellow Police tape surrounds both a family's home and a child's Big Wheel. They are disturbing images sure to raise concern among the neighbors.

"I was just curious I live across the street I know this morning there was a lot of police around here, so."

Neighbor Chin Widowski still has a lot of questions. Police are still trying to determined what happened here, but what we know so far is very upsetting.

"About 6 am we got a 9-1-1 call that a 2 year old boy was barely breathing and sustained some very serious injuries we are at this point investigating this as a possible case of child abuse but we aren't certain. "

Once again when neighbors hear what police are saying, they can't help but react.

"Oh my god." "That's not good that's horrible."

A horrible day, but it is not over yet. Police still don't know who is responsible, but they are looking very closely.

"We always will look at those closest to the family we do have a person of interest and we are interviewing him right now."
