Jenks Boy Dies, Police Investigating Possible Abuse

A 2-year-old boy has died as a result of possible child abuse.
Jenks Police tell News Channel 8 the toddler died Friday afternoon as a result of his injuries. The medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death.
Police were called to the home near 7th and C Street about 6 a.m. Thursday. They discovered the boy, who had serious injuries and could barely breathe. He was rushed to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
Investigators say they are continuing the investigation into the child's death.
