Father & Son Arrested In Idabel Bank Robbery

Jesse Nanez and his son Matthew were arrested Wednesday morning, just minutes after the robbery of the McCurtain County National Bank in Idabel.
At about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, a man walked into the bank and robbed it before leaving in a white van. A few minutes later, OSBI agents heard the robbery report and saw the van.
Both men were taken into custody without incident and the money believed to have been taken in the robbery was recovered.
Jesse Nanez is also suspected of last Friday's hold-up of the First National Bank in Idabel.
