Fairland - A man who was accused of holding a woman hostage who later died is now under arrest for allegedly selling prescription drugs.
Bobby Joe Stogsdill was arrested late Thursday night after investigators say he tried to sell ten Carisoprodol pills for three dollars each to a cooperating individual.
Carisoprodol is a generic for the drug Soma, a Schedule IV narcotic.
Ottawa County Sheriff Terry Durborow says Stogsdill was booked into the Ottawa County Jail on a complaint of delivery of a controlled dangerous substance.
Bond was set at 10-thousand dollars for Stogsdill, who was in the news last week after a woman accused him of holding her hostage without food or water.
Twenty-nine-year-old Amber Barr was taken to a Joplin, Missouri hospital with signs of severe dehydration and later slipped into a coma and died.
An autopsy revealed pneumonia was the probable cause of her death.
Stogsdill denied the allegations and told investigators he believed Barr was referring to a previous boyfriend when she made the accusations.
