Tulsa -

A tornado watch continues until midnight Monday night for much of Oklahoma.
The watch is in effect for Blaine, Caddo, Canadian, Cleveland, Comanche, Cotton, Creek, Garfield, Grady, Grant, Jackson, Kay, Kingfisher, Kiowa, Lincoln, Logan, Oklahoma, Major, McClain, Noble, Payne, Osage, Pawnee, Payne, Pottawatomie, Rogers, Stephens, Tillman, Tulsa, Washington and Washita counties.
Severe thunderstorms are likely tonight across eastern Oklahoma, including the possibility of strong winds, large hail and tornadoes.
The storms formed Monday afternoon and evening across portions of central Kansas and western Oklahoma and moved into northeastern Oklahoma late Monday night.
A tornado warning was issued at one point for Logan County, but was allowed to expire. No tornado touchdowns were reported and there has been no report of injury or damage at this point. Further to the north, storm spotters did report tornado touchdowns in south-central Kansas. Strong winds from the storms are also thought to be the cause for several vehicles being knocked over near Salina.
The severe weather threat is expected to move out of the area by Tuesday morning after the cold front moves through, leaving temperatures about ten degrees cooler for afternoon highs.
Temperatures will remain in the 60s through much of the week and another round of showers and thunderstorms will be possible by Thursday.
