Kat Argue owns Edible Arrangements in Brookside. News Channel 8's Carol Lambert thought it would be fun for her to help Kachalla design her own fruit masterpiece, so Kachalla dipped into her creative talent to arrange her very first edible arrangement. This 7th grader says math is her favorite subject, but she thoroughly enjoys art and choir. Kachalla loves to sing and her favorite artist is Mariah Carey. Kachalla's case worker says this 13-year-old is kind hearted, friendly and very talkative once she gets to know you. She loves church activities and wants to find a Christian home. She believes that honesty and trust are two key ingredients in friendship. And, she trys her best to be a good friend. "You can cheer them on, and talk to them about things that's been on their mind and stuff like that," Kachalla says. Kachalla is hopeful she'll find a permanent home. She needs a family who will accept her for who she is, and parents who can encourage her to reach her full potential. "I really want a family that can take care of me and be honest with me and love me and care for me," she says. If you would like more information about Kachalla and DHS adoption, call (918) 581-2309.
