The flood warning for the Deep Fork River at Beggs has been canceled.
As of 8 o'clock Friday morning, the river was at 18-point-13 feet, right at flood stage. Despite heavy rains yesterday, the river is expected to continue falling below flood stage this morning.
The river, a part of the Canadian River basin, rose to 24-point-46 feet, more nearly six and a half feet above flood stage, late Monday evening. The flooding followed last week's heavy rains that dumped up to seven inches of precipitation across central and northeastern Oklahoma.
