Request To Dismiss Raney Trial Denied

Sara Smart was reported missing in January 2006. Her body was discovered in a pond near Haskell the following August.
Attorneys for Jerry Raney had asked a judge to throw out the case, for lack of evidence. But that request was denied today.
Prosecutors say Raney described the crime to several people.
