Tulsa - Power has been restored to thousands of people in South Tulsa after a major power outage.
It happened at about 6:40 p.m, leaving 21,000 customers in the dark.
PSO Spokesperson Ed Bettinger says, a lightning arrester failed, shutting down a substation at 81st and Yale.
NewsChannel 8 took calls from people affected from 51st to 91st and Sheridan to Riverside.
Luckily, power was restored by 8:15 to all customers.
