Aline - Heavy rain has forced two state highways to be closed off because of high water.
It's happening in north central Oklahoma. State Highway 8 from Aline in Alfalfa County south to Cleo Springs in Major County has been closed off.
In Kay County, State Highway 156 between Marland and U.S. Highway 60 just east of Tonkawa is closed.
A large area of rain showers continues this morning across most of Oklahoma. The area of rain is continuing to move to the east, where it will impact parts of the Tulsa area by this afternoon. The rain is expected to continue into the day Thursday.
A flash flood watch is in effect from 1 p.m. this afternoon through Thursday evening for all of eastern Oklahoma. The watch is also currently in effect for north-central Oklahoma through this evening.
A flash flood warning is ongoing in far southwestern Oklahoma where some areas have seen in excess of three to four inches of rain in a two-hour period.
