Funnel clouds have been reported with a storm in southeastern Kansas that has prompted a tornado warning until 7:15 p.m.
The warning is for Elk County. At 6:53 p.m., trained spotters reported a funnel cloud near Longton, or about 16 miles north of Sedan. The storm was moving to the northeast at 30 miles per hour.

Other storms were forming along and ahead of a dry line from central Kansas through central Oklahoma. These storms were moving to the northeast at about 30 miles per hour.
