Funnel Clouds Reported In SE Kansas

Funnel clouds have been reported with a storm in southeastern Kansas that has prompted a tornado warning until 7:15 p.m.
The warning is for Elk County. At 6:53 p.m., trained spotters reported a funnel cloud near Longton, or about 16 miles north of Sedan. The storm was moving to the northeast at 30 miles per hour.
NewsChannel 8 storm chasers Bob Rohloff and Mark Conklin have been following this storm since it formed and quickly became severe earlier this afternoon.
Other storms were forming along and ahead of a dry line from central Kansas through central Oklahoma. These storms were moving to the northeast at about 30 miles per hour.
