Authorities are investigating as a homicide the death of a man whose burned body was found in ditch southwest of Altus.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says they still are trying to identify the man, who was discovered Saturday morning.
OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown says a farmer called 911 about 9 a.m. Saturday morning after finding the man's body in a ditch south of U.S. 62.
Jackson County Sheriff Roger LeVick says the death is being treated as a homicide.
Authorities are searching for a red Ford F-150 pickup truck in connection with the man's killing. The pickup has a missing tailgate and Oklahoma tag number JCV 565.
