Firefighters Rescue Women Trapped In Dam

Firefighters have rescued a woman trapped under the dam at Lake Overholser in northwest Oklahoma City.
Crews launched a swift-water rescue just after 4 p.m. Friday to reach the woman who was wearing a bathing suit and standing on a concrete portion of the dam, trapped behind rushing water.
Television video footage showed the firefighters driving a raft through the current, helping the woman into the boat and driving back to shore. Water from the lake was rushing through the dam just a few feet from where the woman was standing.
