Big Homecoming For 'Idol' Star David Cook

Tulsa rocker and "American Idol" contestant David Cook is getting some hometown love in Kansas City, Missouri.
The 25-year-old is a native of the Kansas City suburb of Blue Springs who cut his teeth musically in the Tulsa music scene.
His fans gave him a hometown welcome today when he made an appearance at the Kansas City Power & Light downtown entertainment district. Officials in both Kansas City and Missouri declared Friday "David Cook Day."
Cook advanced this week to the final three on the hit talent-search TV show. The other finalists are David Archuleta and Syesha Mercado.
The final winner will be announced May 21st.
