A tornado watch is in effect for all of eastern Oklahoma.
Already Saturday afternoon, storms with large hail had been reported south of the watch area. Hail up to the size of golfballs can be expected with the rapidly developing storms.
As these storms continue to build, isolated tornadoes will be possible, especially to the south of the watch area.
The counties included in the watch until 7 p.m. are Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, Muskogee, Nowata, Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington.
An additional watch is in effect until 9 p.m. for Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Choctaw, Coal, Garvin, Haskell, Hughes, Johnston, Latimer, LeFlore, Love, Marshall, McCurtain, McIntosh, Murray, Okfuskee, Pittsburg, Pontotoc, Pottawatomie, Pushmataha and Semiole counties.
