With Accessory City's generous gift card, Adrianna was Queen for the day.
This 7-year-old loves shopping and has a good idea of what she likes. She's active and healthy and does very well in school.
"What kind of grades do you make?"
"A's plus 100's."
"That's wonderful!
Adrianna has faced many challenges in her young life. And, although she loves her therapeutic foster home, it's time that she's with a permanent family. She has an outgoing personality, but is in counseling to help her deal with her feelings at times.
Adrianna needs a mom, or a mom and dad, to be involved in her life, and guide and direct her to reach her full potential. She's just a kid and wants someone to be proud of her. For example, she's pretty talented in the pool.
"A lot of times, I like to do the back slam."
"What's that?"
"Like you turn backwards and you land on your back."
DHS says Adrianna would do great in a home where she will receive consistency, stability, nurturing and good old fashioned love. That's the recipe to help this waiting child begin her new future.
