A Tulsa County jury has found a Broken Arrow man guilty of first-degree manslaughter for a drunk driving traffic death and recommended an eight-year prison term.
Police say 45-year-old Jonathan Lee Olcott was driving drunk July 21 when he struck and killed Enoch Tartsah, who was walking across the street in north Tulsa.
Besides the eight-year prison term and a $5,000 fine for manslaughter, the jury imposed an additional one-year sentence and $1,000 fine for a misdemeanor DUI count.
Olcott's attorney says she will urge a judge to merge the two counts.
