If you're looking for something to do this Memorial Day weekend, here are some area events you might like to try.

SATURDAYCaney Mayfest Car Show - The 4th Annual Caney Mayfest Car Show will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. along 4th Street in Caney, Kansas. For more information, click here.

Annual Bigheart Day - Kids fishing tournament, kids frog jump and turtle races, a parade, horseshoes, 3-on-3 basketball and volleyball and more. For more information, click here.

2nd Annual Hicks In The Sticks Festival in Jennings - Fun for the whole family with dunk the musician, activities for the children, food and beverages as well as live music. For more information, click here.

SUNDAY
Memorial Madness - The Army National Guard will be at Covenant Life Family Worship Center in Sand Springs Sunday with a rock climbing wall and bungee run. Also planned -- an inflatable jousting game, bouncy boxing, giveaways, food and live music. For more information, click here.

MONDAY
Singles Lake Keystone Picnic - The Singles Fellowship of Christ United Methodist Church is hosting a picnic at Lake Keystone's Salt Creek Pavilion beginning at noon. For more information, click here.

The Oklahoma Aquarium is celebrating its fifth year this weekend. Kids can get their pictures taken with Shipley the Shark and you can see hundreds of aquatic species. Visit www.okaquarium.org to learn more.

The Tulsa Zoo is always a fun time. It's the wildest adventure in town with dozens of wildlife creatures to see. Visit www.tulsazoo.org for more information.

On Saturday, you can take a wildflower walk from 10:30 a.m. to noon at The Oxley Nature Center. And, it's free of charge.

There are lots of things to see and do at the Oxley Nature Center, including the Redbud Valley Nature Preserve, where you can find plants and animals found nowhere else in northeastern Oklahoma. For more information, visit www.oxleynaturecenter.org.
