Oklahoma City - A pharmacist who shot and killed a 16-year-old would-be robber is now charged with first-degree murder in the case.
The incident happened on May 19th at Reliable Discount Pharmacy. Antwun Parker was shot six times by 57-year-old Jerome Ersland, who says the shooting was in self defense.
An autopsy indicates Parker was still alive after being shot once in the head. He suffered five gun shot wounds in the stomach and died at the scene.
Ersland says two people in ski masks threatened both he and two other employees and that because he is disabled, he was unable to run.
Ersland says he pulled a pistol and shot Parker in the head, then shot him five more times after the teen tried to get up.
Ersland is expected to be back in court on Thursday.
