Chances for showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue across northeastern Oklahoma through Friday.
Since June first, Tulsa has seen at least some rain for ten of this month's 18 days. And, the total rainfall this month has now exceeded nine inches, making it already the wettest June since 1995.
A flood warning remains in effect for the Arkansas River near Muskogee through at least Friday, the Caney River near Collinsville affecting Tulsa and Rogers counties until at least this evening and Polecat Crek near Sapulpa in Creek County until at least late Thursday night.
In addition, an urban and small stream flood advisory is in effect through mid-morning for Tulsa County, eastern Creek County, northern Okmulgee County, southeastern Osage County, western Rogers County and northwestern Wagoner County.
After this morning's rainfall, a quiet afternoon is expected before more wet weather returns Wednesday night. Overnight and morning showers will continue Thursday and Friday, especially across northeastern Oklahoma before drier conditions finally enter the picture over the weekend and into early next week.
