A Tulsa water park is coming under fire for operating rides without making repairs ordered by the state Department of Labor. During a December inspection, inspectors flagged two rides at the Big Splash water park after finding rotting beams in the support tower. But when inspectors returned to the park June 3rd, Labor Commissioner Lloyd Fields says Big Splash was using the rides and hadn't replaced the boards. Park manager Amber Beck declined to comment about the matter. The incident comes almost exactly a year after a section of the park's Master Blaster ride collapsed with an 11-year-old girl on it. The girl was not injured, but the ride was closed for the rest of the season.
