Authorities have destroyed more than 2,000 marijuana plants found growing in western Pittsburg County.
Undersheriff Richard Sexton said Friday that police in McAlester received a tip about the marijuana patch.
After gathering evidence that might lead to the grower, Sexton says both departments helped destroy the plants.
No arrests have been made, but Sexton says the property owner was not a suspect in the case.
