Search and rescue teams have discovered the body of a Barnsdall man in Bird Creek in Osage County. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the body of 28-year-old Michael Todd Reed was pulled from the Creek Friday morning. The patrol is investigating Reed's death as a possible suicide. The patrol report indicates Reed told a bartender in Barnsdall Thursday night that he was having family problems and that he was going to the bridge to kill himself. Reed also called his grandfather, who found some of Reed's personal items at the end of the bridge and notified authorities. Reed's body was found about 200 yards east of the bridge in about 10 feet of water.
