A Tishomingo man is accused of running over a man in a nightclub parking lot and leaving him paralyzed.

Prosecutors on Thursday charged 26-year-old Nicholas James Blakemore with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and leaving the scene of an accident involving injury.

He's accused of running over Todd Raymond Curley and dragging him 200 feet in September 2007 in the parking lot of Cheyenne's Club in Durant.

Court papers show Curley suffered three compound fractures to his legs, a shattered spine that caused paralysis from the waist down, a punctured left lung and a skull fracture.

According to police, blood, skin and clothing evidence were found underneath Blakemore's truck.
