Police in Broken Arrow are investigating to see if there may be a link between a man accused of carjacking and child rape in Tulsa and the rape of a five-year-old Broken Arrow girl last year.
Twenty-five-year-old Brandon Brixey was arrested Thursday, hours after police say he forced a woman out of her van near 61st and Sheridan, then took the van with the woman's three children inside.
Brixey was arrested after someone recognized him as the suspect and called police.

Many people have e-mailed NewsChannel 8 to say Brixey looks a lot like the composite sketch released last year after a five-year-old Broken Arrow girl was abducted, raped and then dropped off in a neighborhood.
NewsChannel 8 spoke with Broken Arrow police, who say Brixey did live in the area where the victim was dropped off and that due to similarities in the two cases, they are looking into any possible connection they may have.
Brixey remains in the Tulsa County Jail on nearly 500-thousand dollars bail. We will continue to monitor any new developments in the case.
