An annual report by MSN ranks Tulsa ninth in the country. Tulsa is considered a growing market, where home values continue to rise and cost of living remains low. And, it's not just Tulsa, but the suburbs, too.
It sounds like Tulsa is doing just fine, but you may find some of the best deals just driving down the street in small towns like Glenpool.

We followed along with realtor Janice Koss of Coldwell Banker. She's opened the door to super sales. She has four closings today.
"That's a pretty good pay day," she says. "I'm excited about it and so is my husband."
We didn't ask how much, but let's say today's pay could be a good down payment on a house herself. She says her success is frmo business and people who want to buy.
"We've got first-time buyers, move-up buyers, we've got executive buyers," she says.
On one home, they've done everything right -- kept it clean and made it available to everyone, even us without notice.
"When people put their homes on the market, they should be ready to sell," Koss says. "They should be ready right then for it to be shown right then. That's the best advice that I can give them."
And, she says people are just ready to buy. That makes her job easy.
"I don't think it's hard at all. I'm doing really good business. One of the closings I'm doing today, I listed it and four days later, I had four offers on it."
So, let's say you want to buy or sell a home. They can tell you how much you can afford and if you're going to sell, they can help you find a selling price.
As for the list of best bargain markets, MSN listed Wichita number one, followed by Omaha, Nebraska. A few larger cities also made this year's list, including Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Dallas and San Antonio.
