Tulsa, OK - A long time Tulsa Oil baron announced on Thursday his intention to be the next Mayor of Tulsa.
Dewey Bartlett, Jr. made his official announcement at the Tulsa Press Club this afternoon.
In the press conference Bartlett said, " We need to bring Tulsa together to unify our city." He went on to say, "We must focus on our basic infrastructure."
Bartlett now joins Clay Clark as mayoral candidates.
Currently Dewey Bartlett,Jr. serves as President of Keener Oil & Gas Company headquartered here in Tulsa.
According to the companies website, Bartlett holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Regis College in Denver. He received a MBA degree in Finance from SMU in Dallas in 1971.
Before taking over at Keener, Bartlett spent time working for Halliburton Services and Beard Oil Company.
He became the Managing Partner of Keener Oil & Gas Company in 1987.
Dewey and his wife have three children.
