A long-time teacher and superintendent of
the Midwest City-Del City School District will be laid to rest
today.
"Babe" Eubanks died Saturday night in his sleep. He was 86.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Westminster Presbyterian
Church in Oklahoma City.

Eubanks began his career as a psychology teacher and baseball
coach for Mid-Del Schools in 1955. He retired in 1987 after 12
years as superintendent. The Mid-Del Technology Center was named in
his honor.
A World War II veteran and former baseball player at the
University of Oklahoma, Eubanks also was an official for football
and basketball. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Officials Hall of
Fame.
