Thieves Torch Home, Steal 1,000-lb. Safe

Authorities are searching for thieves who broke into a rural Murray County home, stole a 1,000-pound safe and torched the estate.
The state Fire Marshal's office is investigating the blaze that erupted early yesterday morning at the home west of Kingston.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says whoever torched the home stole a pickup and a custom-made safe. The pickup was later recovered in a lake northwest of Gainesville, Texas.
