Suspicious Device Found In Norman Park

The Norman Police Department's bomb squad has exploded a suspicious device found in a city park.
The device included a prescription pill bottle with fireworks and BBs inside and was attached to a grill with a lit cigarette taped to a fuse.
Capt. Leonard Judy says the cigarette went out before igniting the fuse.
Judy says a parks department employee found the device shortly before 8 Wednesday morning in Eastwood Park in east Norman and took it to the department's maintenance building and called police.
