A murder trial has been set for May 4 for
Andrew Thompson, who is accused of killing his father and stashing
the body in a freezer.
Thompson is accused of killing his father, Emmanuel Thompson,
after an argument on Nov. 20, 2006.
The 21-year-old man, who played college soccer, allegedly hid
his father's body in a freezer and spent more than $10,000 before
the body was found about two weeks later.

Ronald "Skip" Kelly, Thompson's former attorney, has said the
killing came during a fight and after Andrew Thompson suffered
years of physical abuse.
Thompson says his family is trying to hire a new attorney.
