Oklahoma City police say a 50-year-old
Norman man has been arrested after a fatal traffic accident in the
southeast part of the city.
Police Master Sgt. Gary Knight says Jerald Methvin was booked
into the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of manslaughter,
drunken driving and reckless driving.
Knight says Methvin was driving about 100 mph on a rural road on
Monday night when he failed to negotiate a curve.

Methvin's vehicle hit an electric pole and his passenger,
36-year-old Candy Dubiel, died at the scene.
