Dozens of people were injured on Monday after an improvised bullfighting
ring collapsed in the town of Planadas, in Colombia's Tolima province,
authorities said.
RCN television showed live footage of the accident, with hundreds of
spectators thrown into chaos while watching the fight.
One injured spectator, Edna Patricia Guzman said it was a packed audience.
"The organisers kept letting more people come, so it was a very strong fall,
" Guzman said. "Three rings fell over me as well as some other people and
two babies."

Rescue workers and local residents helped people at the scene, while the
injured were taken to the local hospital.
Diego Escobar, the health secretary for the province said 18 people were
injured, two of them children.
"We are waiting for the last report that the hospital of Planadas gives us
to be able to tell Colombians the reason why the bullfighting ring collapsed
," Escobar said.
