Backfiring Car Sparks House Fire In Broken Arrow

It happened Thursday afternoon in the 18-hundred block of West Gary. That's just northeast of 101st Street South and 145th East Avenue.
Fire officials say the blaze started in the garage. A car had a gas leak in the garage and when the vehicle was started, it sparked a fire.
Most of the damage was contained to the garage and roof.
No one was hurt. A damage estimate was not available.
