well rleef I don't know who you have been talking to, but the citizen test is not easy. I myself am a citizen born and raised and have looked at the test on the immigration web site and there are questions that most americans cant answer. my husband is a legal resident and plans on applying for citizenship but it is definitely not easy.

I think 11 years in the US should be enough time to become a citizen? they dont want to be then they need to leave. I applaud the Sherriffs office and any other law enforcement agency for doing their job. they flock here in numbers illegally... breaks my heart to see them run. soon I hope to walk in to macdonalds and order from someone who speaks english.... again if you want to live here I dont have a problem with it ,as long as you do it legally... its really a very basic test they give to become a citizen a whole lot easier than taking your ged I have been told. but you have to speak basic english.
