A backup offensive lineman from Oklahoma State has transferred to Northwestern State in Louisiana.
Demons coach Scott Stoker says 6-foot-3, 310-pound Michael Booker went through his first practice with his new team on Monday.
Booker played in two games as a backup at Oklahoma State last season as a redshirt freshman and entered the offseason with a chance to earn a starting role at left guard.
Because Northwestern State is in the Football Championship Subdivision, Booker will be eligible to play this season.
